Island-Style House Plans

Island Style House Plans are typically cottage flavored home designs. These home designs usually involve living areas that are elevated, often over parking below. Our collection is ideal for coastal and waterfront properties or low lying land where flooding can be an issue. Tropical island–style house plans may be on open pilings, block columns or may have the lower levels totally enclosed. All of these home plans can be modified to fit any of those conditions. Please check with your local building officials for your local requirements as some properties may be in either a flood zone or velocity zone.
