Kendrick House Plan

Gently carved balusters, square transoms and pure symmetry define the neoclassic exterior of the Kendrick house plan, yet the design offers much more than a beautiful facade. A triplet of paneled doors leads through an open foyer to a spectacular great room with unimpeded views of the rear property. Art niches and a massive hearth define one wall of the great room of the Kendrick, and contradict an opposing series of flat soffits that open the space to the kitchen. Zoned for serving crowd-sized events or just snacks, the kitchen of the Kendrick plan features a central island with a veggie sink, double ovens, a six-burner cook top, a walk-in pantry and glamorous see-through cabinets.

Just off of the kitchen is the breakfast nook with French doors leading out to a private loggia with built in grille. The nook also has a separate door leading out to the utility room. To the right of the Kendrick plan is the owner's suite. The master wing has a large master bedroom with French doors leading out to the rear terrace. Down the hall are his and hers walk in closets. Beyond the walk ins the master wing of the Kendrick house plan sports a splendid bath with a spa-style tub and a walk-in shower and double sink vanity.

The study and powder room just below the master suite can convert into another guest room or even a nursery. Upstairs a balcony loft leads past a computer desk and links two family bedrooms on the left wing with full bath. Each bedroom leads out to a private deck. On the right wing are two more guest bedrooms with a full bath to share. The front bedroom leads to a shared balcony. This spacious Kendrick floor plan offers 3578 square feet of living area, and has five bedrooms with three and 1/2 bathrooms.
